The Stakes are High for Oregon’s Kids

In 2010, Oregon will elect a new Governor for the first time in 8 years. The State Superintendent of Public Instruction is up for re-election. Every member of the Oregon House of Representatives will be running, along with half of Oregon’s State Senators.

From Portland to Lincoln City, Salem to Newport, we're raising our blue umbrellas to show support for stabilizing school funding by creating a Rainy Day Fund and reforming the kicker. Show your support on Facebook, learn more and take action!

About our Oregon Successes

Since 1999, Stand members in Oregon have won 75 state and local victories that accomplished key education reforms, leveraged more than $1.9 billion in public funding for schools and other programs serving over 1,025,155 children. Every dollar invested in Stand for Children has delivered $256 in public funding for children’s programs in Oregon.
