Stand for Children Colorado Opposes Amendments 60, 61 and Proposition 101
Stand for Children members agree on a vision for Colorado that includes sustainable, accountable funding for schools, police services, and roads. The first step toward achieving that vision is defeating 60, 61, and 101. Stay tuned for ways you can help defeat these reckless measures this fall.

• In 2008, only 73% of Colorado students graduated high school in four years with a regular diploma. The rate was 58% for African Americans and 51% for Hispanics.

• Dropouts from the class of 2008 will cost Colorado almost $4.3 billion in lost wages over their lifetimes.

Colorado ranks 42nd in achievement gap on 4th grade NAEP tests and 46th on 8th grade NAEP tests.
