Where Do Children Stand?Today, for the first time in our nation's history, the next generation will likely fare worse than their parents - unless we intervene. Global competition and automation have led to the loss of tens of millions of U.S. jobs in the past generation. For children to succeed in today's fast changing world, we must equip them to be proficient in core academic subjects, effective communicators and team players, and capable of learning quickly. View indicators of investment in education and student achievement for Arizona, Colorado, Massachusetts, Oregon, Tennessee, and Washington. Our MissionStand for Children’s mission is to use the power of grassroots action to help all children get the excellent public education and strong support they need to thrive.
